Wirex Pay Joins Stellar Ecosystem

Stablecoin payment platform Wirex Pay has announced its expansion to the Stellar blockchain after receiving a top-tier award from the Stellar Community Fund (SCF). The funding will support the deployment of Wirex Pay’s payment infrastructure directly on Stellar.

The integration will make all Wirex Pay services available to users and developers in the Stellar ecosystem. These services include stablecoin-linked current accounts with Visa debit cards; non-custodial business banking tools such as payroll cards, yield products, and reporting features; and a Web3 Banking-as-a-Service platform designed to support dApps or DEXs based on Stellar in offering their own card and fiat account services.

Wirex Pay aims to complete the integration in the coming months. Development has already begun, and the company is working with community members and technical contributors to align the platform’s features with the needs of the Stellar ecosystem.

This expansion is a part of Wirex’s broader strategy to support financial inclusion by providing financial tools in underbanked regions.
