Raydium LaunchLab Made 3,792 Tokens, Just 43 Graduated

  • Raydium’s LaunchLab created 3,792 tokens, but only 43 moved to external trading.
  • PumpFun still dominates Solana token creation, offering a faster, looser experience.

Raydium is indeed the talk of the town among Solana crypto enthusiasts. Since launching LaunchLab on April 16, the platform has facilitated the birth of 3,792 new tokens. However, the number that really catches the eye is the number of tokens that have successfully “graduated” to external trading: only 43.

What does that mean? A graduation rate of only 1.13% A number that begs the question, is this an indication of too much enthusiasm or a difficult process?

Furthermore, LaunchLab is trying to offer a different approach from PumpFun, the platform that previously dominated daily token creation on Solana.

After PumpFun launched its own DEX called PumpSwap, Raydium responded by launching LaunchLab—which is not just a follower, but brings features such as flexible bonding curves, no migration fees, and additional incentives for creators. The goal is to attract serious creators who want their projects to have a long life, not just rise for a while and then sink.

Raydium Simplifies Token Creation With JustSendIt

On April 17, 2025, Raydium added the JustSendIt feature to LaunchLab, which allows anyone to launch a token instantly with default settings. Once its market cap reaches a certain threshold, the token’s liquidity is immediately transferred to Raydium’s Automated Market Maker.

Imagine if you could create a token as simple as opening a new file on your computer—that’s roughly how the process works now. Practical, fast, but of course still leaves questions about quality.

Interestingly, despite the high enthusiasm, market sentiment towards Raydium is still not very bright. Three days ago, Raydium was named “Coin of the Day” by CoinCodex after rising 8.81% in 24 hours. However, its technical indicators are still leaning towards bearish.

At the same time, the price of the RAY token is currently trading at around $2.27, up slightly by 3.03% in the last 24 hours and 10.75% in the last 7 days. A movement that may provide a little hope, although it cannot be said to be convincing.

Quick Tokens or Curated? You Decide

Meanwhile, PumpFun still dominates Solana’s token creation volume with over 60% of daily contributions. They also recently brought back the livestream feature for 5% of their users. With updated moderation rules and community feedback, PumpFun’s approach is looking more mature.

Despite their reputation being questioned due to the flood of instant meme tokens, they remain a top choice for creators who prefer a fast approach without too many frills.

Not only that, PumpFun has now set up a new development path based on feedback, moderators, and policy experts. This means that anyone who wants to play in the Solana token world is now faced with two paths: Raydium with a more curated process and PumpFun with its freewheeling style.
