The official Shiba Inu marketing lead, known to the community under the pseudonym Lucie, has returned to X with an important announcement for the SHIB community. She stated that the SHIB DeFi toolkit has just been improved after a total upgrade made by the developer team.

This upgrade includes an important new feature which improves the token burn mechanism, making SHIB burns easier, faster, and seamless.

“Not cosmetic refresh” but “total upgrade to the engine”

Lucie’s tweet is titled: “Shib DeFi Toolkit just leveled up.” In it, the SHIB executive revealed the major updates that this key upgrade brings to Shibarium and those who actively use it. “Things just got serious,” Lucie stated excitedly.

Besides, Lucie pointed out that this “isn’t a cosmetic refresh. It’s a total upgrade” to the engine which allows the community to “earn, trade, and burn inside the ecosystem.”

This isn’t a cosmetic refresh. It’s a total upgrade to the engine that powers how you earn, trade, and burn inside the ecosystem.

This upgrade brings precision liquidity pools, which allow users to choose price zones where to provide liquidity and get more efficient yields.

Users now will also be able to get their multiple rewards in just one move from various sources – incentives, fees, etc. Besides, now users will be able to smoothly swap their tokens, do staking for passive yield, and bridge between various chains on Shibarium. They will not have to switch from one platform to another to do any of that.

Upgrade transforms SHIB burns

This major upgrade has also added important changes to the SHIB burn mechanism. Now, Lucie’s message says, auto burns will be triggered directly by any activity on Shibarium – “Swaps, liquidity actions, and other uses now trigger live burns automatically.”

Lucie added that SHIB and other Shibarium tokens will now be burned “on-chain, in real time.” The pressure on the circulating Shiba Inu supply is now “part of the daily flow.”

So far, the daily SHIB burn metric remains in the red zone, showing minus 52.85%. The amount of meme coins that has been transferred into unspendable wallets and out of circulation totals 10,408,840 SHIB. This has been achieved in three burn transactions so far, the largest of which helped to destroy 10,286,840 Shiba Inu approximately ten hours ago. The other two carried just 100,000 and 22,000 SHIB to dead wallets.
