MEET48 Launches IDOL Airdrop on June 9th Ahead of TGE, Leading Web 3.0 Entertainment

On June 7, 2025, MEET48 officially announced the launch of its IDOL airdrop program.

The IDOL airdrop eligibility check page is scheduled to officially launch at 8:00 p.m. PST on June 9, 2025, marking a critical step forward in MEET48’s journey into the new era of Web 3.0 entertainment.

The eligibility snapshot for this airdrop was completed at 9:00 a.m. PST on May 21, 2025, covering users who have interacted with the MEET48 ecosystem, partner communities, special contributors, active users of Mars Protocol, creators, the top three winners of the Mars Audition for Best3 AI-MEME and holders of MEET48 ecosystem NFTs.

Users will be able to access the airdrop page and check their eligibility and claimable amount by logging in with their wallet address, email or account ID.

Following the TGE (token generation event), initial token claiming will be available immediately and must be completed within 14 days, after which eligibility will automatically expire.

Airdropped IDOL tokens can be used to participate in voting for the first Web 3.0 All-Community Annual Idol Popularity Audition and Ceremony (WIPA).

Users who choose to use their unvested tokens for voting will be deemed to have voluntarily forfeited the right to future linear unlocks of those specific tokens.

According to the vesting schedule, 50% of the airdrop will be released at TGE, with the remaining 50% to be unlocked linearly over six months, starting six months after TGE.
