South Korea’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges, Upbit and Bithumb, have seen a notable increase in altcoin trading volume over the past 24 hours. The sudden surge in volume for leading altcoins like XRP, Dogecoin, and Tezos was particularly striking.
When data from the two exchanges were combined, the total 24-hour trading volume of some altcoins reached hundreds of millions of dollars.
Below is the list of altcoin trading volumes on Upbit and Bithumb over the last 24 hours.
- XRP – $905 million
- Dogecoin (DOGE) – $602 million
- Tezos (XTZ) – $406 million
- Ethereum (ETH) – $398 million
- Bitcoin (BTC) – $186 million
- Tether (USDT) – $184 million
- Ethena (ENA) – $171 million
- Nervos Network (CKB) – $167 million
- Tokamak Network (TON) – $145 million
- Ethereum Classic (ETC) – $153 million
- Solana (SOL) – $151 million
- Elixir (ELX) – $120 million
- Conflux (CFX) – $55 million
- Worldcoin (WLD) – $42 million
- Pudgy Penguins (PENGU) – $37 million
While the total volume of XRP on two exchanges alone exceeded $900 million, it was observed that memecoin Dogecoin and Tier-1 project Tezos were also in high demand.
