Binance-Listed Altcoin Announced to be Listed on South Korea’s Popular Cryptocurrency Exchange: Price Volatility Began

Bithumb, South Korea’s second most popular cryptocurrency exchange, announced the listing of a new altcoin, Osmosis (OSMO), on the Korean Won market.

The new listing will support the Osmosis (Mainnet) network. However, deposits via other networks will not be supported.

While the deposit start date is planned to be 08:00 on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, transaction and withdrawal services will start at 09:00 on the same day. The base price for OSMO has been set at 2,015 KRW.

With the new listing, Bithumb is also launching an airdrop event. The more users trade OSMO, the more ETH they will earn.

Osmosis (OSMO) is described as an appchain DEX built using Cosmos SDK. Developers describe the platform as a liquidity hub that allows users to create their own customized liquidity pools, providing an optimized trading environment for each asset.
