Vitalik Buterin Makes Bold Statements About Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH)! “Just Two…”

There are many projects in the cryptocurrency market. While it is very important to determine which project is long-lasting and solid when investing, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin explained his thoughts on this subject.

Only Bitcoin and Ethereum Can Survive!

On WarpCast, Vitalik Buterin argued that only Bitcoin and Ethereum have the essential property needed for long-term survival.

Claiming that only Bitcoin and Ethereum can survive without foundations at this point, Buterin stated that only BTC and ETH have true decentralization features.

“True decentralization can be tested by whether a blockchain can survive without a foundation. And at this point, only Bitcoin and Ethereum can confidently meet that standard.”

According to Buterin, while Ethereum appears to be more obviously centralized than Bitcoin, ETH has also made significant strides in decentralization.

At this point, Buterin emphasized that most of Ethereum’s development now occurs outside of the Ethereum Foundation.

“Most of Ethereum development happens outside of the foundation, with independent client teams and researchers.

The Ethereum community is a large and globally distributed community that includes developers, users, stakers, and researchers. This broad participation ensures that the network is not managed centrally by a single entity.

Additionally, Ethereum’s transition to Proof of Stake further enhances decentralization by reducing reliance on energy-intensive mining and opening up network participation to a wider range of users through staking.”

The Allegations About Ethereum Saddened Me!

In another statement, Vitalik Buterin criticized the intolerant claims made for Ethereum.

Buterin expressed his disappointment in claims that Ethereum is intolerant of gambling-related practices like other blockchains. Speaking to questions at Tako’s AMA session, Buterin stated that he has no interest in participating in a blockchain if the blockchain community embraces such distorted ethics.

“Perhaps the most disappointing thing for me lately has been some people saying that Ethereum is not good and that it is intolerant.

Because we don’t have enough respect for casinos on the blockchain and other chains are happy to accept any application, so they are better.

“If the blockchain community has such moral issues, I have no interest in participating in blockchain. Ethereum needs to work together to create the world we want to see.”
