MASK and TAO are leading the charts in terms of DAO social rankings. Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs) are still a hot topic in the crypto world, and socialization is still one of the best predictors of a project and community health.

On July 2, 2025, the Phoenix Group, in partnership with LunarCrus, released the latest report of the most active DAO projects based on their social presence.

TAO Leads in Posts, MASK Tops Interactions

TAO has taken the lead in the count of the engaged posts with 7.9K, having 267.2K total interactions. This solid show echoes the steady presence of the community in the discourse, particularly as it has gained more focus around decentralized AI infrastructures.

Interestingly, even though TAO surpassed the engaged post, MASK surpassed it in social interactions. MASK had reported 7.1K posts and scored an impressive 331.5K interactions, signifying not only activity but great user engagement.

Arbitrum (ARB) and ApeCoin (APE) Show Contrasting Strengths

Arbitrum (ARB) is a Layer 2 protocol on the Ethereum platform that marked the 6.1K engaged posts and 189.5K interactions. As its ecosystem keeps growing in terms of DAO governance and network improvements, ARB remains among the most influential DAOs in the scalability sector.

By comparison, ApeCoin (APE) registered a 4.8K number of engaged posts and a mere 45.7K interactions. The rather low interaction rate can be seen as a temporary slowdown in metaverse and NFT-related conversations after the hype drive cycle.

RARE and ICP Deliver Niche Engagement

The governance token of the SuperRare art marketplace, RARE, registered 3.9K engaged posts and 82.8K interactions. This is an indication that the user base of SuperRare is quite active, probably owing to the constant curation events and artist drops.

In the meantime, Internet Computer (ICP) had 3.9K engaged posts as well but had only 13.0K interactions. The ICP project has gained considerable ground in Web3 infrastructure, but its interaction score is relatively lower, which points to minor activity on social media platforms, although a lot of talk is in the core developer community.

W (WooDAO) Outperforms in Interactions

WooDAO, denoted as W in the chart, had 3.4K engaged posts but an amazing 391.4K interactions, the highest among other DAOs. This peak indicates the recent viral discussions or announcements that caused heated online discussions. The emergence of WooDAO was impressive and may be a sign of a more prominent publicity within areas in DeFi.

UNI, AAVE, and CAKE Maintain Moderate Presence

The governance DAO of Uniswap (UNI) generated 3.2K posts and 35.1K engagements. Despite being one of the big names in DeFi, the relatively low activity can be an indication of a stabilized part of its roadmap. AAVE came next with 2.3K posts and 42.8K interactions in line with its current governance proposals and protocol updates. The DAO (CAKE) of the PancakeSwap platform ends the list with 2.1K posts and 42.3 K interactions.

As TAO and MASK remain on the frontline, WooDAO’s gigantic spikes in interaction, and RARE’s profound engagement redefine how social values in the decentralized world are estimated.
