The Blockchain Group’s latest Bitcoin purchase

The Blockchain Group, a company listed on Euronext Growth Paris, is a leading entity in consulting on decentralized technology, artificial intelligence and data intelligence solutions. Since its foundation, it has shown a pioneering approach towards the digitalization of assets, acting as a trailblazer among European fintech companies in adopting and maintaining significant reserves in Bitcoin.

The new purchase of 22 Bitcoin brings the total value of BTC held by The Blockchain Group to 1,955 BTC, equivalent to approximately €177 million (approximately $206 million). The transaction, which took place in recent weeks, follows a steady growth in the company’s holdings in digital assets.

How was the purchase of new BTC financed?

The investment in Bitcoin has been made possible thanks to two key financial moves:

  • A capital increase in partnership with TOBAM, concluded with the collection of approximately €1.1 million at a subscription price of €3.95 per share. This liquidity allowed the purchase of 10 BTC.
  • The conversion of BSA 2025-01 into 2,274,754 new ordinary shares, allowing the purchase of an additional 12 BTC.

Thanks to these operations, The Blockchain Group continues to increase its exposure to Bitcoin, confirming itself among the main corporate holders of BTC in Europe.

What financial results did The Blockchain Group achieve in 2024?

The current year marks an absolute record for the Bitcoin performance held by the company. The return on holdings has reached an impressive +1373.2%, accompanied by net gains of 549.3 BTC and €55.5 million in profit.

Such data send a strong signal to institutional and retail investors: direct exposure to digital assets can generate outsized returns compared to more conventional financial instruments.

What changes for shareholders and what are the market prospects?

The enormous yield and the increase in Bitcoin holdings generate direct repercussions on the appeal of The Blockchain Group among investors. The stock, already the focus of attention on French tech markets, could benefit from further speculative interest fueled by both the record results and the strengthened connection between the company and the world of cryptocurrencies.

Furthermore, the capital increase carried out at €3.95 per share suggests a favorable valuation on digital assets and the solidity of the business model fund-raising through the issuance of ordinary shares and instruments like BSA (subscription rights for shares).

Why does The Blockchain Group still invest in Bitcoin? What could happen now?

The growing commitment to Bitcoin by The Blockchain Group reflects a long-term strategy: the group sees Bitcoin as a store of value, an antifragile tool, and a strategic lever in the context of global financial decentralization. The approach follows the moves of major institutional players and fits into an international context where the “Trump Effect” and the increasing openness of publicly traded companies to the crypto world are redefining the rules of the game.

While the sector remains subject to high volatility, the group’s choices highlight how, even in Europe, tokenization of assets and reserve models in digital assets can become a competitive standard.

How to follow the evolution and what to expect in the coming months?

The numbers achieved by The Blockchain Group put the company under the spotlight of crypto investors and supporters of decentralization. The next moves could involve new capital increases, strategic partnerships, or further diversification into digital assets and emerging technologies.

The future depends on many variables: Bitcoin prices and regulations remain unpredictable, but one thing is clear: entities like The Blockchain Group are driving the European fintech transition. For those who want to stay updated, the advice is to follow the company on official channels and major investment platforms, observing how the tech-finance model will evolve between crypto volatility and transparency needs.
