The biggest institutional Bitcoin bull, Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy), did not perform as expected last week and paused Bitcoin buying for the first time since April.

Last week, Strategy’s total assets remained unchanged at 597,325 BTC ($65 billion).

Michael Saylor Says He Will Continue Buying Bitcoin!

Continuing its weekly purchases, Strategy announced that it purchased 4,225 Bitcoin (BTC) between July 7-13.

Accordingly, Strategy purchased 4,225 BTC worth $472.5 million at an average price of $111,827.

Strategy founder Michael Saylor announced the news via a post on his X account.

“Strategy purchased 4,225 BTC for approximately $472.5 million, at approximately $111,827 per Bitcoin, generating a 20.2% BTC Return in 2025 YTD.

As of July 13, 2025, we hold 601,550 BTC purchased for approximately $42.87 billion at approximately $71,268 per Bitcoin.
