Cryptocurrency analyst The DeFi Investor shared his cryptocurrency watchlist, which includes altcoins and projects he will closely follow in the new week.
The analyst listed the weekly highlights as follows:
- KAITO (KAITO): Kaito is expected to make a major announcement next week.
- Bitcoin (BTC): Rumors are swirling that the Trump administration will announce its Bitcoin reserve funding plan on July 22.
- Sonic (S): The claim portal for the Sonic S1 airdrop will open in the next two days.
- Infinex: Infinex, the “everything crypto” app, will soon introduce new features, including a browser extension.
- Optimism (OP): The Optimism network is preparing for a major upgrade next week, dubbed the Superchain Upgrade.
- Lombard: On July 22, the LBTC asset on the Lombard platform will be converted into an interest-bearing Bitcoin asset.
- Avalanche (AVAX): The next critical date for VanEck’s spot Avalanche ETF application is July 28.
- Jupiter (JUP): Jupiter hinted at a big announcement next week.
- Coinbase: On July 21st, Coinbase will launch its Perpetual-style futures for the US.
- LayerZero (ZRO): Approximately 23% of LayerZero’s ZRO tokens will be unlocked and released into circulation.
