Popular Shiba Inu community handle hints at an upcoming Shibarium upgrade that could revolutionize token launches.
In a recent X post, Shibarium Updates (@Shibizens) suggests that the Shiba Inu ecosystem team is planning to roll out a major upgrade that could take token launches to the next level.
The post emphasized that the upcoming upgrade would cater to users seeking to explore, invest, and launch ‘the next big’ token on Shibarium.
Features of New Upgrades
According to the announcement, this upgrade will introduce two major features specifically around pumping and launching tokens.
Notably, the Pump Token feature serves as a voting and discovery system on Shibarium. This system will allow users to explore and identify newly created tokens on the Layer-2 blockchain and vote on them to boost their ratings.
The initiative will enable users to identify promising ecosystem tokens early before they gain widespread popularity in the market.
Secondly, the upcoming Shibarium upgrade will offer a simplified token creation tool. This tool will allow users to create and deploy new tokens on Shibarium in just a few clicks, similar to how Solana-based Pump.Fun works.
This feature mitigates the technical barriers and makes it easier for anyone to introduce new tokens into the Shiba Inu ecosystem. However, this could pose a challenge for users as malefactors might leverage the tool to launch malicious tokens.
Meanwhile, the community handle emphasized that the upcoming upgrades are not live yet but will be launched soon.
Team Rolls Out Similar Initiative for dApp Creation
The upcoming initiative is part of efforts to drive Shibarium adoption by simplifying the process of launching and exploring new tokens on the blockchain.
Recall that the ecosystem team introduced a similar initiative for developers seeking to build decentralized applications on Shibarium.
The team launched Shiba Inu Developer Portal (ShibDev), a platform that provides developers with essential tools to build on Shibarium. These tools include faucets, API management, node access, and on-chain data.
Following the successful debut of ShibDev, the team now seeks to introduce new tools to simplify the process of exploring and launching tokens on Shibarium.
