According to the announcement, this upgrade will introduce two major features specifically around pumping and launching tokens.
Notably, the Pump Token feature serves as a voting and discovery system on Shibarium. This system will allow users to explore and identify newly created tokens on the Layer-2 blockchain and vote on them to boost their ratings.
The initiative will enable users to identify promising ecosystem tokens early before they gain widespread popularity in the market.
Secondly, the upcoming Shibarium upgrade will offer a simplified token creation tool. This tool will allow users to create and deploy new tokens on Shibarium in just a few clicks, similar to how Solana-based Pump.Fun works.
This feature mitigates the technical barriers and makes it easier for anyone to introduce new tokens into the Shiba Inu ecosystem. However, this could pose a challenge for users as malefactors might leverage the tool to launch malicious tokens.
