Binance CEO Breaks Silence on 275 Million Milestone: Details

Major crypto exchange Binance has officially surpassed 275 million users, marking a significant milestone in its global expansion. The announcement has sparked a wave of excitement across the crypto space, highlighting the crypto exchange’s expanding presence and ongoing adoption worldwide.

Reacting to the milestone, Binance CEO Richard Teng shared a message of gratitude on social media X: “275 million strong & growing. Thank you for being part of this incredible journey. Onward,” Teng wrote in a recent tweet.

The 275 million crypto user milestone marks a continuing journey toward the one billion user mark that Binance is committed to, reflecting the platform’s growth this year. The crypto exchange has now well surpassed a quarter of the way to the one billion user target.

The Binance CEO shared the official Binance X post, which highlighted the milestones of user growth. Accompanying the tweet was an image that showed Binance user growth from 200 million to 250 million, and now 275 million.

25 million users added in months

It should be recalled that the world’s largest crypto ecosystem crossed the 250 million registered users mark by the end of 2024, implying that over 25 million were added in a space of five months.

Despite being significant, this was less than the growth seen in the second half of 2024, when Binance welcomed 50 million users in less than six months, bringing the total to 250 million by December 2024. It celebrated the 200 million user milestone in June 2024.

Mainstream adoption of cryptocurrencies has increased substantially, and institutional players have stepped up their engagement, with Binance benefiting from this trend as its user base grows.
