The Dow Jones Industrial Average is climbing Tuesday morning with shares of Intel and Caterpillar seeing positive gains for the index. The Dow DJIA was most recently trading 95 points, or 0.3%, higher, as shares of Intel INTC and Caterpillar CAT are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday rally. Intel’s shares have climbed $1.44, or 3.0%, while those of Caterpillar are up $5.05 (1.7%), combining for a roughly 43-point boost for the Dow. Walgreens Boots WBA, 3M MMM, and Chevron CVX are also contributing significantly to the gain. A $1 move in any of the benchmark’s 30 components results in a 6.59-point swing.
